The EM Table is a work of art, but it’s also a piece of engineering genius. Designed by Jean Prouvé in the early 1950s, it’s a simple table with a radical aesthetic. The canted legs are connected by a crossbar, and the whole thing is made of metal. It’s austere, but it’s also incredibly strong.
It is available with a variety of table tops, including solid wood, veneer, and HPL laminate. I like the solid wood tops the best. They give the table a touch of warmth and luxury. The EM Table is perfect for any setting. It would look great in a modern home, but it would also be at home in a restaurant or office. It’s a timeless piece of design that will only get better with age.
